I would like to offer you another way to look at the design of a three stone ring.  The images include various sized of side diamonds for a round center and an oval center.  Please keep in mind all these images are very large and show detail you won't find in a ring unless you examined it under magnification.  The one smaller image give a better feel for the look of a three stone ring.
