I would like to share a design idea with you. We need to extend the length of your watch bracelet from 5.5 inches to a minimum of 6.75 inches. One way of doing this is to use a bracelet extender. A bracelet extender consists of a fold-over style clasp and a length of custom-designed bracelet. The design requires the use of the commercially available fold-over clasp. I will need to order the clasp to see if this design is workable. One image shows a yellow gold object. This is a placeholder for the commercial clasp. I don't have the clasp dimensions, and I am estimating the length.
A second approach would be to add an extension on either side of the clasp. This area, including your current clasp, would be stiff and measure approximately 2.00 inches in length. A typical butterfly style clasp measures 1.3 inches in length.
